Once I set foot in Garden Way, the welcoming smiles of the residents and bustling dining room indicated that I had entered a community that is thriving. I was present for the lunch hour and got to enjoy visiting with a friend from Church and her table mates. They raved about the quality of the food and care. I was so impressed with the attentive staff and positive testimonials of the residents that I promptly signed an agreement to refer Senior Living 911 clients. 

Garden Way Retirement Community offers Independent Living for Eugene-Springfield area residents. Independent living is a type of senior home that provides seniors with the comforts of home but without the cooking, cleaning, maintenance, utilities and yard care. Importantly, the staff and residents watch out for each other and will notice if anyone is absent or late, in case medical assistance is necessary. Residents may utilize a care giver to assist with activities of daily living such as assisting with medications or health check ups since Independent Living Communities are not allowed to provide medical care. 

Garden Way is located in close proximity to shopping and Chase Gardens Medical Center. Garden Way is an all inclusive resort style living community with several studio and one bedroom floorplans to chose from. The patio areas are full of sun and gardens which are impeccably manicured. The rooms are quiet and peaceful but the dining area is bustling with activity and happy residents busy chatting. Health and wellness activities abound for those who want to stay physically and mentally engaged. Activities like "Chair Cardio", "Bingo", and sight seeing tours are available, plus a movie theatre, fitness center, billiard table and hair salon.
